APPLICATION

The hob cutter grinding machine S 40 is ideally suited to grind and re-grind hobs, profile cutters and similar tools in tungsten carbide and high speed steels. The machines runs autonomously needing minimal operator attention.

CONTROL

The machine is equipped with a SIEMENS PLC control.

INDEXING ACCURACY

Due to the built-in Harmonic Drive the machine has an indexing accuracy of +/- 0.001 mm on a ø 40 mm.

SET-UP

For a quick and precise set-up of the hob, a setting microscope is permanently mounted on the machine.
